총회 행사에 주최, 주관, 후원, 협찬을 구분해서 사용합시다.

알립니다) 총회 산하의 노회들이나 상비부에서 행사를 준비하시면서 공문이나 전단지에 ‘주최’와 ‘주관’, ‘후원’, ‘협찬’의 뜻을 많이 헷갈리시거나 중복하셔서 사용하는 경우가 많음을 봅니다.
이미 제대로 알고 계시는 분들도 계시겠지만 총회 행정 처리상 한번 말씀을 드리고자 합니다.
우선 '주최'는 말 그대로 행사를 여는 곳, 혹은 계획한 곳, 바로 총회입니다.
그리고 '주관'은 그 행사를 도맡아서 하는 곳입니다. 어떤 행사의 시작부터 끝까지 일정을 세우고 실질적으로 운영하는 곳으로 노회나 상비부가 되겠습니다.
예를 들면, (주최: 미주한인예수교장로회 총회, 주관: 노회나 상비부) 이렇게 기록을 해야 합니다. 실제적인 일은 '주관'하는 곳에서 거의 모든 일을 맡아서 합니다.
'후원'은 말 그대로 재정적인 부분을 대주는 곳입니다. 만약 주최나 주관한 곳에서 재정적인 부분까지 해결한다면 기록을 하지 않지만, 그 외의 다른 곳에서 재정 후원을 받는다면 따로 기록합니다.
그리고 '협찬'은 물품이나, 기자재, 소도구 같은 일부분을 보조해 주는 곳을 말합니다.
정리하면, 주최, 주관, 후원, 협찬 이렇게 하위 순서로 내려갑니다.
주최와 주관은 꼭 기록을 하지만, 후원과 협찬은 해당하는 곳이 있을 때만 기록합니다.

I have noticed that there is a lot of confusion about the use of the terms "Host", "Organizer", "Sponsor", and "Swag" in announcements and flyers.
I'm sure some of you already know the difference, but for the sake of the General Assembly administration, I would like to clarify.
First of all, the "Host" is literally the place where the event is held or planned, the General Assembly of the Korean American Presbyterian Church.
The "Organizer" is the person in charge of the event. For example, it would be the presbytery or the standing committee that schedules and actually runs the event from start to finish.
For example, (Host: General Assembly of the Korean American Presbyterian Church, Organizer: Presbytery or Standing Committee).
The actual work is done by the 'Organizer' who does almost everything.
The 'sponsor' is literally the person who is in charge of finances.
If the organizing or hosting organization takes care of finances, then it's not recorded, but if it's sponsored by someone else, then it's recorded separately.
The "swag" is when someone provides some kind of support, such as supplies, equipment, or props.
To summarize, the hierarchy is the Host, the Organizer, the Sponsor, and the Swag.
The Host and Organizer are always recorded, but Sponsors and Swag are only recorded wherever applicable.
